Harvest & Gather and Two Rooms are proud to present Server Host Not Found, featuring Victor Castañeda H (b. 1984, San Fernando Valley, CA) and Lissa Corona (b. 1982, San Diego, CA).

Through storytelling, Castañeda H explores the "non-body," the internal energy source inside us all. Building from our scientific understanding of the human body as networks of cells communicating through chemical and electrical signals, the non-body is a way to imagine oneself connected to various life networks all across the universe, while remaining free of physical confines. Pulling from Sci-Fi, surrealism, humor, and the mundane, Server Host Not Found is made up of a coding performance, video, drawings, and sculpture to imagine the possibilities of the non-physical self.

Primarily consisting of performative video and photography, Corona’s art practice revolves around one question: “What does it mean to be human?” Utilizing television and technological forms of communication as sources, the artist investigates the trajectory of popular culture as it reflects society. Corona’s practice questions the limits of sincerity, and the performance of emotions, interpersonal relationships, class, sex, gender, and race.
